Hi! I’m Jocelyn Fayola, a technical artist focused on character rigging and tool development for games. I primarily work in Maya and Unreal Engine, creating animator-friendly rigs and building Python tools that help streamline rigging workflows.
My work focuses on building reliable systems such as IK/FK setups, matrix-based deformation rigs, and procedural rigging tools that improve usability for animators. I also have experience working with physics and cloth simulation in Unreal Engine, helping connect animation systems with gameplay.
Alongside technical art, I have a background in 3D modeling, texturing, and concept art, which helps me collaborate closely with artists and understand the full asset pipeline.
Right now, I’m interested in continuing to grow as a technical artist by exploring shader development and VFX.
Outside of work, I enjoy studying birds, especially macaws!
