Procedural Content Generated (PCG) Spline Tendrils

The tendrils are fully spline-driven. Adjusting the spline points updates the generated meshes in real time, allowing artists and level designers to quickly iterate on the shape while the tool automatically rebuilds the geometry.

Exposed user parameters allow artists to control surface projection, toggle debug points for spline visualization, and adjust settings such as spline offset and mesh density.

This spline-based PCG tool allows artists and level designers to quickly place and iterate on environmental tendrils by simply editing spline points. The meshes regenerate in real time as the spline is adjusted, enabling a fast, non-destructive workflow.

The tool uses raycasting to project the generated meshes onto tagged surfaces, allowing the tendrils to naturally conform to walls, cliffs, ceilings, and other environmental geometry. A range of exposed parameters gives users control over projection, mesh density, spline offset, and debugging options, making the tool flexible for a variety of level design scenarios.
